New Features​

SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Connector​

dab Nexus now offers Cloud Connectors as a new source type. The first available Cloud Connector is SAP SuccessFactors. License is required.

Extracted SuccessFactors data can be written to SQL Server or to Cloud Connections.

Support for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition​

dab Nexus now supports SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition as a source system. Create the connection as an OData connection under Settings → SAP Systems.

Managed Identity for Fabric Lakehouse​

Fabric Lakehouse Cloud Connections now support authentication via managed identity. You can select a system-assigned or a user-assigned managed identity, as already available for Fabric Open Mirroring.

Nexus API: Cloud Connections as Replication Targets​

The Nexus API now supports Cloud Connections as targets for replication tasks. The endpoint /api/v1/ids/object-types returns Cloud Connections such as Fabric and Snowflake with their ID, name, and object type. The create task API accepts a Cloud Connection as the target of a replication task.

Improvements​

  • Package Studio now shows the ABAP data types of OData entities if they are available in the service metadata.
  • The View Details section of the SAP connection error dialog now contains the original error message returned by SAP.
  • A failed OData connection test now shows a readable error message instead of the technical server response.
  • SAP systems can now be benchmarked directly from the list view.
  • The General Ledger package templates were updated. #274103 #273752
  • Long error messages from the SAP connection test can now be scrolled in the error dialog.
  • The run view now shows a message if the log file of a run is no longer available.
  • Deletion dependency lines in Package Studio now have their own color and an icon on the line, so they can be told apart from regular dependency lines.

  • Fixed filter assignments being applied to all variants instead of only the selected variant and table.
  • Fixed the connection pop-up in the Package Editor loading indefinitely.

SAP & OData Connections​

  • Fixed an unknown error in the benchmark when the connection test returned the error described in SAP Note 3227692. #274284
  • Fixed repeated text in SAP error messages.
  • Fixed OData extractions failing with "DeltaLinkPersistenceDirectory is null" when no load type was assigned to a table.
  • Fixed delta loads not being detected for OData services that use the newer SAP change tracking annotation.
  • Fixed a "MultiRangeOrSearchExpression is not valid" error when loading certain OData services such as C_PURCHASEORDERDEX.
  • Fixed truncated tooltips and validation errors on optional fields for OData connections with client certificate and password authentication.

Tasks & Scheduling​

  • Fixed "Analyze again" creating a run that never finished instead of re-executing the audit steps.
  • Fixed runs showing an incorrect status when the "Analyze SAP Data" step was skipped or canceled.
  • Fixed multiple values not being accepted for multi-value parameters from Custom Analytics during task creation.
  • Fixed the SQL Server status being shown as "Unknown" in the German UI during task creation after a successful connection test.
  • Fixed retried runs with the merge strategy dropping the target table in Snowflake. #274255
  • Fixed scheduled tasks stopping after the fourth failed run instead of after the configured limit of three. #274175
  • Fixed tasks scheduled for Sunday running on Monday. #274124
  • Fixed cloned tasks losing their schema overrides.

General​

  • Fixed missing copy actions in the Task and Run view.
  • Fixed the Managed App license activation returning a "Missing Identifier" error in the Portal.
  • Fixed spacing and wording in the Analytics Groups create and edit view.
  • Fixed number ranges starting at 0 instead of the defined interval when the number range was not yet in use. #274256
