How do you transition from a PoC to a live environment?

If you want to transition from a PoC environment to a live one, there are a few things you need to look out for.

The following items must be saved:

  • Storage Account: contains the configuration of the dab Nexus Managed App itself
  • Databases: contains the settings within the dab Nexus Managed App
  • Encryption Key: this key is used to encrypt and decrypt the entries in the databases.

These allow you to transfer the settings and configurations for the dab Nexus Managed App to the new environment.

The next step is to deploy a new dab Nexus Managed App via the Azure Marketplace. Please follow the steps in the Quickstart Guide of the Managed App.

You can set the Storage Account, databases and existing Encryption Key during the deployment. Then complete the deployment.

All the other steps are the same as for the initial setup of the dab Nexus Managed App.
