New Features​

Webhooks for Runs​

dab Nexus can now notify other tools through webhooks when a run starts, succeeds or fails. Administrators manage webhooks under Settings → Webhooks. For details, see Webhooks.

Google Cloud Storage Connection​

You can now use Google Cloud Storage as a target for Replication Tasks. Create the connection with a service account key (JSON) under Settings → Cloud Connections; dab Nexus writes the data as CSV or Parquet files into your bucket. The connection requires a separate license.

Nexus API: Analytic Groups and Run Retry​

The Nexus API can now create, update and delete Analytic Groups, read the license status and retry runs. Run responses now contain the start and end time of the run. The API documentation now describes operations, types and fields. #274340

MCP Server for the Nexus API​

dab Nexus now has an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at /mcp, so AI agents can use the operations of the Nexus API as tools. Authenticate with an API key from Settings → API Keys. The key has the permissions of its user.

Managed App: Network Access​

The Managed App deployment now lets you restrict access to dab Nexus to allowed IP addresses, or disable public access and use Private Link. By default, only the allowed IP addresses have access. You can also skip the private DNS zones if you manage DNS for the private endpoints yourself.

Improvements​

  • Package Studio in Managed App deployments now hides reports.
  • The Package Studio canvas now shows nodes and links in a new layered layout.
  • Cloud Connectors now accept only .pfx and .p12 certificate files and show an error if the file is invalid or the password is wrong.
  • The Managed App deployment now has the option Route all traffic over virtual network for existing virtual networks.
  • Updated third-party components.

Bug Fixes​

Package Studio​

  • Fixed Package Studio accepting special characters in the number range of a Real-Time Object; invalid values are now marked in red.
  • Fixed a filter assignment in Package Studio being applied to all variants of a package instead of only the current variant.
  • Fixed wrong field assignments and Custom Mappings in the General Ledger delta templates. #274386
  • Fixed wrong Custom Mappings in the Sales Documents and Procurement delta templates. #274396
  • Fixed package creation not showing the localized name and description of the selected package template.

SAP & Cloud Connections​

  • Fixed tasks failing on SAP ECC systems because the package contained tables that exist only in SAP S/4HANA. #274351
  • Fixed the SAP system benchmark showing an unknown error or a successful result of 0 ms when the connection to the SAP system had failed.
  • Fixed connection types that are not included in the license being available under Settings → Cloud Connections, where opening them led to an error page.
  • Fixed access restrictions to users or teams not being saved for Cloud Connectors; restrictions set before this version must be selected again. #274421

Tasks & Runs​

  • Fixed new tasks not using the notification settings from the user profile.
  • Fixed the schedule text of a task showing a placeholder name instead of the number of hours or days.
  • Fixed dependent tables staying queued after the parent table finished when the dependency type was Optimized. #274348
  • Fixed Replication Tasks failing in the Health-Check when two tasks started at the same time and wrote to the same target. #274380
  • Fixed cloned tasks losing the setting Use Initial & Delta Variant with the data strategy Existing Database and Delta Merge. #274359
  • Fixed the Resolve SAP Tables step showing Completed in the run view although tables could not be resolved.
  • Fixed steps without any items showing different statuses across the run view; they now show Skipped.
  • Fixed a step showing Canceled instead of Failed in the run view when it contained both failed and canceled items.
  • Fixed the Data Source step of an Analytic Task mentioning Cloud Connectors, which Analytic Tasks do not support.

Nexus API​

  • Fixed tasks being ignored by the scheduler after their start time was changed through the Nexus API. #274372
  • Fixed start times set through the Nexus API or the MCP server not being rounded up to the next quarter hour.

General​

  • Fixed errors with licenses that contain empty values for the Windows domain or Windows user.
