Allow- & Deny-Lists

You can use Allow- & Deny-Lists to manage data records. This allows you to define permitted and prohibited values in an Analytic Group. They adjust the analyses and ensure that only authorized data is used. The Allow- & Deny-Lists are part of the security system and help you to protect data and ensure compliance with regulations in your company.

Overview

In the overview you see all existing Allow- & Deny-Lists. You can also search for a specific Allow- & Deny-List or adjust the columns shown in the overview.


Creation

You can create an Allow- & Deny-List by clicking on Content Studio > Allow & Deny Lists and on + Allow & Deny List. Enter a name for the new List. Optionally, you can also add a Description.

Add values to your List, e.g. Countries, Payment Terms, Texts, etc.

You have three functions on the right side:

  • Trim all values: deletes spaces that are attached to the values in the line entries
  • Delete empty lines: deletes empty rows in the table (down to 100 rows = standard table size)
  • Add more rows: adds 100 new rows to the table

Edit

You can edit an existing Allow- & Deny-List by clicking on it's name in the overview.


Deletion

Important

The deletion of an Allow- & Deny-List may affect Analytic Groups, if the List is linked there, and therefore can affect active (scheduled) Tasks. The deletion cannot be undone.
