Success Factors

SAP SuccessFactors is a cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. The SuccessFactors Cloud Connector enables dab Nexus to connect to SAP SuccessFactors and access the required data. This article describes how to create and configure a SuccessFactors Cloud Connector in dab Nexus, including the available authentication methods and connector settings.

note

SuccessFactors requires a separate license. Once enabled by the Delivery team, the license must be upgraded for SuccessFactors to appear under Settings > License & Support > Extensions.

Prerequisites and Permissions

Before configuring the SuccessFactors Cloud Connector, ensure that:

  • The appropriate SAP SuccessFactors API endpoint is available.
  • A user or authentication client is available for the connection.
  • The selected authentication method is configured in SAP SuccessFactors.
  • The user or client has the required permissions to access the relevant APIs and data.

The required permissions depend on the SAP SuccessFactors APIs and entities being accessed. For SAP-side authentication, API endpoints, permissions, and access requirements, refer to the official SAP SuccessFactors API Reference Guide.

The SuccessFactors Cloud Connector contains three main setup sections:

1. Connection
