Users & Teams
To manage Users & Teams go to Settings > Users / Teams. You can also manage your own User by clicking on your profile picture on the top right corner > Profile.
Manage own User
In your User Profile you can change the following settings:
- Profile picture: uploade a new one or remove the current one
- First name and Last name
- Language: English, German or your Browser language (You may find some sections, where the translation to your preferred language is missing. In this case the fallback language is English.)
- Notifications: when you follow a Task, this preferences will be used by default
- Notify me when a Run succeeded
- Notify me when a Run failed
- Notify me when a Run was canceled
Save your adjustments with the buttons Save Profile and Save Notification Settings.
Manage other / all Users
In the overview you can see all dab Nexus Users that currently exist. You can search for a specific user, adjust the column selection or create a new User with the button + User.
When you create a new User or edit an existing one (by clicking on their name in the Overview), you'll get to the Details.
You can set or change the mail address of the User, their First name or Last name and their roles. dab Nexus has five roles:
- Admin
- give access to configure items in Content Studio and Settings
- can create and adjust other Users (incl. other Administrators of dab Nexus)
- Architect
- give access to configure items in Content Studio and create Workspaces and Tasks
- Data Analyst
- give access to create Workspaces and Tasks
- Package Editor
- give access to create and adjust Packages in the Package Studio
- Custom Analytic Editor
- give access to create and adjust Custom Analytics in the Content Studio
Optionally, you can upload a new or remove the current profile picture of the user and assign them to certain Teams, Workspaces and Analytic Groups.
Manage Teams
You can create Teams and add Users to it to make the authorization management easier, if necessary.
In the overview you can see all dab Nexus Teams that currently exist. You can search for a specific Team, adjust the column selection or create a new Team with the button + Team.
When you create a new Team or edit an existing one (by clicking on their name in the Overview), you'll get to the Details. Here you can set or change the Team name and upload a new or remove an existing profile picture. Add one or more Users to the (new) Team, define which Workspaces or Analytic Groups they can access and use.
