Download does not continue

Cause

If one of your downloads does not continue, this may be due to the following.

Processes which are claimed by the dab:Exporter block each other and lead to a deadlock. This means that the processes will not be executed and the download will not continue.

Solution

Terminating the Processes

You can determine whether this is a problem by performing the following steps:

  1. Press the Windows key and enter taskmgr in the search field.
  2. Select the program taskmgr.exe which is displayed to you.
  3. The Windows Task Manager now opens.
  4. Select the Processes tab
  5. Click the Show processes of all users button
  6. Search for the processes dabExporter.SapConnection.Wrapper
  7. If the download does not continue and none of these processes has a higher load (> 10,000 K), you can terminate all these processes.
  8. Right-click the process and select End Process. This will also complete the download.
  9. After you have finished all dabExporter.SapConnection.wrapper processes, you can close the Task Manager and restart the download.

Restart the device or server

Another way to correct this error is to restart the device or the server. Afterwards a download is possible again.
