Cannot call classic RFC API

Troubleshooting the error message

The connection test checks whether the librfc32.dll file exists. This file is installed as standard during the installation of the SAP Logon.

The SAP GUI often does not exist on the server, so the connection test returns this error.

The error can be corrected as explained in the following steps:

  1. First log in to the customer portal
  2. There search for the area dab:Exporter and download the ZIP file librfc32.zip
  3. After the download unzip the file and follow the installation instructions, which are attached to the ZIP file.
