The Snowflake Connection is an extension to your dab Nexus. Hence must be separately licensed.

Click on the Snowflake option and enter a name for your Snowflake connection.

General

  • Organization Name - From your Snowflake account settings, find the Organization name.

  • Account Name - From your Snowflake account settings, find the Account name.

  • Use Proxy - This toggle button specifies that the JDBC driver should use a proxy.

When the toggle for Use Proxy is not selected, continue with the selection of Authentication. When the UseProxy button is toggled, configure the following Proxy server details:

Proxy Host - Hostname of the proxy server.

Proxy Port - Specify the port number of the proxy server to use.

Proxy Username - Specify the user name for authenticating the proxy server.

Proxy Password - Password for authenticating to the proxy server.

  • Username - Enter the Authentication Username.

  • Authentication: There are 3 authentication methods available.

  1. Username and Password
    Enter the Password.
  2. JWT certificate.
    - Private Key File Path
    - Private Key File Password
  3. OAuth Token - Enter the OAuth Token value.

  • Database - You can select your Database from the dropdown after clicking the Refresh Snowflake Databases.

  • Restrict schema usage in task creation - When this button is toggled, you get an option to select the Available schemas belonging to your database.

  • Available schemas in task creation - Select from the dropdown.

  • Warehouse - Select the warehouse after selecting the database.

Permissions

Assign Permissions to the the connection. You can assign permissions for Teams and Users.
