The steps to migrate packages from dab:Exporter to dab Nexus are detailed below.
Export Packages in dab:Exporter
First export all packages you want to migrate to dab Nexus. How to export the packages in dab:Exporter is explained in this article.
Import Packages in dab Nexus
The following steps are required in dab Nexus to import the packages:
- Log in in dab Nexus
- Open the Package Studio
- Create a new Package (For more information, see this article: sections Description, SAP-system and Menu Bar)
- Click on File and then on Import
- Select a Package to migrate -> Packages from dab:Exporter have the extension .ex3pgk
- When the package is uploaded, it is automatically converted by dab Nexus
- Save the Package
- Repeat from step 3 to 7 for each Package you want to migrate to dab Nexus
